For decades, the Gowanus and Narrows peaker plants have burned fossil fuels on Sunset Park's waterfront. Our community has breathed the pollution. 

This briefing builds on our earlier community conversation. Together we'll dig into community-led visions for the two sites: moving Sunset Park off fossil fuels, repairing environmental harm, creating good local jobs, and building a healthier, more resilient waterfront.

This is a planning process under NYSERDA's Just Transition Site Reuse Planning Program, in partnership with the Office of Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso and Ramboll. Your voice shapes the plan.
